2023 Tata Nexon EV Facelift: Variants

The Tata Nexon EV Facelift will be available in three distinct Trims for prospective Buyers to consider – Creative, Fearless and Empowered. The base variant, Creative, is exclusively offered in the Medium Range (MR) Battery Pack, while the other variants Fearless and Empowered will be available with the option of both Medium Range (MR) and Long Range (LR) configurations.

Tata Nexon EV Facelift will showcase an updated Exterior Design with notable changes to both the Front and Rear sections, highlighted by signature connected LED Lighting elements.

2023 Tata Nexon EV Facelift: Exterior Updates

The Tata Nexon EV Facelift boasts a completely rejuvenated appearance. The Front end exudes a modern and futuristic charm with connected LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), a sleek closed-off Grille and a split LED Head Light set up inspired by the upcoming Harrier EV. Changes on the sides are primarily limited to the introduction of new 16” aerodynamically designed Alloy Wheels. 

The Rear end again showcases distinctive connected LED Tail Lights that also support a Welcome Light feature. The redesigned Boot Lid and a redesigned Bumper contribute to a more prominent and muscular Rear profile. The Rear Wiper has been seamlessly integrated into the Spoiler, completing the Exterior makeover.

2023 Tata Nexon EV Facelift: Interior and Features Updates

The fresh design ethos continues within the Cabin, featuring a new Dual Tone theme and a restructured Dashboard layout. The Two Spoke Digital Steering Wheel, gets a backlit Tata logo, is reminiscent of the Tata Curvv concept. A new touch panel for HVAC Controls, similar to the standard Nexon ICE Facelift, enhances the Cabin’s Aesthetics. The Nexon EV Facelift will offer exclusive Seat Upholstery theme and Color options, specific to each Variant.

In terms of features, the Nexon EV Facelift introduces a new 10.25” Digital Instrument Cluster, which also supports On-Screen Navigation. The Infotainment System receives a significant upgrade with a massive 12.3” Landscape-oriented Touchscreen. Additionally, there’s a premium 9 Speaker JBL Sound System and Front Passenger Seat Height Adjustment along with the Driver’s Seat. Notably, the Nexon EV Facelift continues to offer features like an Electric Sunroof, Wireless Phone Charger, Automatic Climate Control, Cruise Control and Ventilated Front Seats.

2023 Tata Nexon EV Facelift: Exclusive EV Specific Features

The Tata Nexon EV Facelift will introduce two New segment first, EV specific Features V2L and V2V.

  • V2L – Vehicle to Load, will allow owners to use the Electric SUV as a Power source for Appliances, making it ideal for activities like camping. It can act as a Power Bank or Inverter for your home or office.
  • V2V – Vehicle to Vehicle, will allow owners to charge the Electric SUV with another ELectric Vehicle’s Battery or Charge another Electric Vehicle with its Battery Pack, providing an additional Range support to another EV.

2023 Tata Nexon EV Facelift – Updated Safety Features

With Tata Nexon EV Facelift, Safety will be a priority, with Six Airbags as Standard across all variants, along with Electronic Stability Control (ESC), ISOFIX Child Seat mounts, a 360 Degree Camera System, Front Parking Sensors and Rain Sensing Wipers.

2023 Tata Nexon EV Facelift: Battery Pack and Range Details

While retaining the 30.2 KWh and 40.5 KWh Battery packs, the Nexon EV Facelift now offers increased Range and Power. In comparison to the current models, the Nexon EV Facelift Medium Range variant will provide an additional 13 Kilometers of Range and the Long Range version will offer an extra 12 Kilometers on a single full Charge.

2023 Tata Nexon EV Facelift – Conclusion

The Nexon EV Facelift is expected to come at a premium over its current Price range, which currently spans from Rs. 14.49 lakh to Rs. 19.54 lakh (Ex-showroom).

Tata Nexon EV Facelift will continue to compete with the Mahindra XUV400 EV while serving as a more affordable alternative to the MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona Electric in the Indian Electric SUV market.
