The interior exudes warmth, resembling a cozy study with a fireplace and bookshelves. The Front Seats, borrowed from the Honda City, are plush and comfortable, though positioned a bit low for an SUV. The overall Driving position is Car-like and inviting. The Cabin’s thoughtful design includes Adjustable Steering, Well-placed Gear Shifter, easily accessible Audio and Climate Controls, and numerous convenient Cup and Bottle holders. The homely ambiance is immediately apparent in the Elevate’s interior.
The Elevate’s cabin isn’t as well-equipped as the Seltos’s versions. It’s closer to the Seltos HTX trim with a similar 1.5L Petrol Engine and almost similar Features list. While lacking a Panoramic Sunroof, it features ADAS, unlike the HTX. The Elevate has a Height-Adjustable Driver’s Seat, Single-Zone Climate Control, a Single-Pane Sunroof, and Wireless Charging. The 10.25” Touchscreen Multimedia System is a significant improvement from previous Honda models. However, it falls short compared to rivals. The Reverse Camera resolution needs improvement. The Driver Info System combines Analogue Speedometer with Digital Tachometer, Trip Computer, G-Meter, and Honda Sense (ADAS) shortcuts.
Honda Elevate SUV: Competition
While not groundbreaking, the Honda Elevate excels in seamlessly integrating into your life, providing value without causing disruptions. It prioritizes comfort with excellent visibility, comfortable seats, and a smooth ride. Though not the fastest, its low and mid-range torque ensures an effortless and relaxing driving experience, suitable for commuting and cruising. It may not be thrilling, but it covers the essentials well, making it a practical choice for those seeking a straightforward, well-rounded vehicle.
In the Indian market, the Honda Elevate will find itself in competition with the Hyundai Creta, new Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq.
