Jeep has introduced the Compass 2WD Diesel with an Automatic Transmission at a starting Price of Rs 23.99 lakhs in India. In addition to this new Transmission option, Jeep has refreshed the Compass lineup with a Redesigned Front Grille and updated Alloy Wheel designs across all variants. The American SUV brand had previously given the Compass a Facelift in 2021.

The Compass 2WD AT is now available in five different Trims, offering customers a variety of options to choose from. The Compass range also benefits from the updated Exterior Features, giving it a fresh look.

Jeep Compass Diesel: Powertrain

The Jeep Compass is powered by a 170 Bhp, 350 Nm, 2.0 Litre Diesel Engine. Jeep currently offers only Diesel Engines in the Compass range in India due to compliance with BS6 Stage II Emissions Norms. However, there are plans to reintroduce Petrol variants in the near future. This move aims to cater to customers seeking the convenience of an Automatic Gearbox at a reasonable Price.

Jeep Compass Diesel: Updated Variant Wise Prices

The Entry level variant comes exclusively with a Diesel Manual Powertrain and its price has been reduced to Rs 20.49 lakh. This new trim serves as the Entry point to the Compass Automatic range and is available with both Manual and 9 Speed Automatic Transmissions. The Diesel Automatic variant boasts a Claimed Fuel Efficiency figure of 16.2 Kmpl.

The Longitude O2 variant, Priced at Rs 24.49 lakh, includes Additional Features such as a Panoramic Sunroof and a Wireless Charger in addition to all the amenities found in the Longitude trim.

The Limited trim now comes with a unique “Black Shark” edition, featuring an All-Black Interior theme, Black Alloy Wheels and distinctive “Ignite Red” Accents throughout the SUV. The Black Shark edition starts at Rs 26.49 lakh, while the Standard Limited variants begin at Rs 25.99 lakh.

The top spec Model S trim is now available with a new 2WD Automatic Transmission, alongside the existing 4WD Automatic option. All trims also receive refreshed Alloy Wheel Designs, while the new Chrome Grille is exclusive to the Limited and Model S trims, with prices starting at Rs 27.99 lakh.

Additionally, Jeep has introduced the Meridian Overland Edition, featuring a new grille and alloy wheel design, as well as a distinctive copper-based interior color theme.
