Suzuki, Japan has recently offered a sneak peek of the upcoming iteration of the Swift ahead of its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show, scheduled to take place between October 26 and November 5, this year. In the images shared by Suzuki, the new Swift showcases a striking Dual-Tone Exterior in Blue and Black, featuring some noticeable Design refinements. Although Suzuki officially dubs it the ‘Swift Concept,’ it appears to be nearly production ready. Enthusiasts can anticipate the release of the next-generation Swift in early 2024.
Next Gen Suzuki Swift – Exterior Design Updates
The Next-Generation Swift retains its familiar overall Design language but incorporates significant updates in various aspects. While the current-gen Swift boasts a Curvaceous Design, the new Swift adopts a more Sporty Demeanor, characterized by a sharp character line traversing its length. The Hood receives a substantial makeover as well, with the character line seamlessly integrating into it. The Front End has been refreshed, featuring a revamped Grille design and a Silver finish on the Front Chin. Notably, Suzuki has relocated the Suzuki Logo from within the Front Grille to above it.
At the Rear, Suzuki has revamped the Bumper, lending it a sportier appearance. The character line from the sides continues to flow above the revised Tail Lamps. Additionally, the next-generation Swift showcases an updated Alloy Wheel Design.
Next Gen Suzuki Swift: Interior Updates
Inside the 2024 Swift, one can find a Dashboard Design akin to the Fronx and the Brezza, adorned with a Black and Grey color scheme. The new Swift also inherits Switchgear Elements from the Fronx and the Brezza, including the 9” Touchscreen Infotainment System, the Steering Wheel and the Switches for HVAC Controls.
Next Gen Suzuki Swift: Powertrain Options
While Suzuki has remained tight-lipped about the Engine and Transmission options for the new Swift, but have promised a “High-Efficiency Engine that will strike a balance between Driving, Performance and Fuel Efficiency.” In the Indian market, the current-gen Swift offers a 1.2 Liter 4 Cylinder Engine producing 90Bhp and 113Nm of Torque, available with either a 5 Speed Manual Transmission or a 5 Speed AMT. It’s also offered with a factory-fitted CNG kit.
Next Gen Suzuki Swift: Safety
Suzuki has revealed that the 2024 Swift will feature Advanced Safety Tech, including Dual Sensor Brake Support, Collision-mitigating Braking, an Adaptive High Beam System and a Driver Monitoring System. However, further details about the safety tech have not been disclosed.

Following its official debut at the Tokyo Motor Show, the next-gen Swift is expected to make its way to the Indian market early next year.
