Toyota Bharat recently unveiled the Rumion, its latest and most affordable 7 Seater MPV, which is simply a Maruti Suzuki Ertiga that will be sold under the Toyota name. Though the Prices and other details will be revealed at the time of Commercial launch, we here today, will be detailing the Specifications and the Variants of the Toyota Rumion for you.
Toyota Rumion: Engine and Transmission Options
Toyota offers both Petrol and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Engines for the Rumion as offered with the Maruti Ertiga. The 1.5 Litre Naturally Aspirated Engine generates 103 Bhp of Peak Power and 137 Nm of Peak Torque when operating on Petrol, but have been detuned to generate just 88 Bhp of Power and 121.5 Nm of Torque when running on CNG. Both a 6-speed Torque Converter Automatic and a 5-speed Manual Transmission are available with 1.5 Litre NA Petrol Engine. The Rumion will be available in three Trim levels: S, G, and V. All three will come Standard with a 6 Speed Manual Transmission, while the Base G and Top Spec V Trims will also be available with a 6 Speed Torque Converter Automatic. Only the base G trim will be available with the Factory Fitted CNG kit.

Conclusion
Toyota Bharat now offers the widest selection of MPVs with the Rumion, Innova Crysta, Innova Hycross, and Vellfire. The Rumion is expected to be Priced with a little premium against Maruti Ertiga, given the Toyota Badging and the Standard Warranty Toyota offers on its cars. When launched, Toyota Rumion will rival the likes of Maruti Ertiga and Kia Carens in India.
